Hello all, my name is Kimberly Davidson. It is my first year with Maple Leaf Educational Systems. I am the ELL/TOC (Teacher on Call) for the school. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree, and a Bachelor of Education with a focus on the Primary and Junior level from Nipissing University in North Bay, Ontario. I taught grade 1/2 and grade 6 on practicum placements and I have also worked with diverse groups of students with learning disabilities. As hobbies, I enjoy the outdoors, traveling and playing various sports. I look forward to a very successful year at Dalian Maple Leaf Foreign Nationals School!
    ELL Class
At the start of the year, the students were given a homework book and small notebook. I asked the children to bring a 2 ring binder to class. I provided 4 dividers to each student, one for reading, one for spelling, writing, and speaking/listening. Each day students will put their work under the appropriate category. I hope that can help them all stay organized throughout the school year.
I have asked students to bring their agendas and a book to class everyday. The reason I ask students to bring a book is because we read silently at the beginning of every class. I believe that this is a great way to allow students to settle down once arriving to school and it gives them a chance to mentally prepare for the day.

What I Expect Students to Bring to Class Everyday:
